The Meadville Area Recreational Complex is a unique forty-seven acre, multi-faceted recreational facility owned and operated by the Meadville Area Recreational Authority. Recreational facilities include: The George S. DeArment Ice Arena, the George J. Barco Aquatic Center, a Skate park, four lighted tennis courts, nature trail, sand volleyball courts, picnic shelters, and baseball and soccer fields.
The MARC Specifically serves the residents of the City of Meadville, West Mead and Vernon Townships, however, all facilities and programs are open to the general public.
The Mission of the Meadville Area Recreation Authority is to provide, maintain and operate recreation facilities and services in a financial sound manner that focuses on improving the quality of life for residents of the Greater Meadville Area.
