Summer 2008 | Training Program for Competitive Swimmers
- Follows the American Red Cross swimming progression program.
- Goal is to provide your child (ages infant - 18 years) with a positive, happy and safe experience in the water.
- Uses creative techniques and games that allow your child to overcome their fear in the water or develop mastery skills for each level.
- Covers skills and knowledge in a logical progression for aquatic skill development.
- As participants develop these skills, they will become safer and better swimmers.
- All classes are taught by an American Red Cross Certified Water Safety Instructor.
- Adult classes and private lessons are available.
Policies
- NO make-up classes (unless MARC cancels).
- NO REFUNDS unless class is canceled by the MARC.
- We reserve the right to cancel a class.
- MARC office is open 8:30am-5:00pm Mon-Fri excluding one hour for lunch.
- Parents cannot wait on the pool deck or where visible to child (either in pool concession area or pool lobby, because of distraction to swimmers).
- Babies/Toddlers must wear a swim diaper.
- Parents will be invited to last day of class.
